This Domestic Electrical Installer (Part P) course in Glasgow is designed for individuals carrying out domestic electrical installation work who need to demonstrate competence in line with Part P of the Building Regulations and the BS 7671 Wiring Regulations.

The course is based on the LCL Awards Domestic Electrical Installer qualification and provides the knowledge and practical skills required to work safely, compliantly, and under a Qualified Supervisor where applicable.

    This intensive format ensures learners gain real electrical installation experience as well as the underpinning knowledge required to work safely and compliantly under Part P of the Building Regulations.
     
  • Format: In-centre classroom and workshop-based training

  • Assessment:
     
    • Online multiple-choice examination to confirm knowledge and understanding of the regulations and technical requirements
       
    • Practical work-book assessment completed throughout the course to demonstrate competence in real wiring tasks and installations
